Competent Active AWARE. Adult education for the future.
Erasmus+ Programme – Small-Scale Partnership
Project Number: 2021-2-PL01-KA210-ADU-000049871
The primary objective of the project is to enhance the skills of pedagogical staff involved in adult education, specifically parents and tutors, in the development of key and digital competences. This will be achieved through the creation of innovative curricula and courses, fostering collaboration among partner institutions.
The concreate objectives:
- Strengthening the competences of teaching staff through the mutual observation of workshops, methods, activities and the exchange of experiences as part of a partnership between the lead institution and partner institutions.
- Developing personal and social competences of parents and guardians by enhancing effective communication skills in family and social situations, fostering a conscious expression of needs and emotions in interactions with the environment.
- Promoting the development of digital competences among adults, enabling them to be conscious Internet users. This includes providing general advice on social media usage duration, recognizing the risks of fake news, advertisements, and product placements, understanding the language of comments and addressing issues such as online hate. External educators will play a role in this process.
- Reinforcing the personal competences of learners in the English language through communication within a small-scale partnership project.
Outcomes:
Goals are related to the selected priorities and result from them. By implementing them, we expect the following results:
- Creation of a Multilingual Guide (view on organization’s website) on the safe use of media and communication technologies for parents and caregivers. This guide will be developed through the exchange of experiences within a small-scale partnership between the lead institution and partner institutions, with staff further enhancing their competences in this area through post-workshop learning with an educator.
- Development of communication scenarios for parents and guardians by project partners, considering key competences and the specific needs of partner institutions based on economic and social conditions in their respective regions.
These results are expected to have a long-term impact, contributing to the improvement of social competences among adult learners, such as communication skills without barriers. Additionally, there will be an emphasis on educational programs based on AIS/IN programs and the creation of a parent-focused group to address problems and select leaders for teaching other adults (involving the participation of two parents in mobility). A supervisory group between institutions will be established, facilitating systematic online meetings and the exchange of experiences related to programs and the creation of common scenarios
